SoftBags is our brand for premium bags and covers for musical instruments, especially percussion instruments such as marimba, vibraphone, timpani, etc. Our products are characterized by durable materials and robust padding which contribute to safe transport and storage. Our covers are also available in the “Premium Protect” version with reinforced padding for additional protection. SoftBags offer the perfect combination of functionality, style and protection for your valuable musical instruments.

Yes, we do offer customized solutions to to meet the individual requirements of our customers. Regardless of whether the individual requirements are other instruments, special sizes or special functions.

We use durable polyester for the outer layer and finer nylon for the inside, with foam padding in between. We use extra strong zippers with large nickel zip sliders.

Softbags: 20 mm foam; 30 mm foam or rigid foam for particularly sensitive areas
Cover: 20 mm foam on areas bars/ heads, 10 mm foam on areas frame
Cover “Premium Protect”: 20 mm rigid foam on areas bars/ heads, 20 mm foam on areas frame

Our softbags are designed to make packing and unpacking the instrument as easy as possible without compromising safety. The bags are designed as ergonomic as possible and have extended shoulder straps as well as a carrying handle to ease transportation. Particularly heavy bags are fitted with wheels. (Wheels are possible for almost any bag on request.)

Depending on the instrument, the softbags have additional pockets to store additional items like drive belts, motor/engines, holders and more safely.

The softbags and the covers are water-repellent. Our products are generally low-maintenance and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

There are 400 colour combinations to choose from. The choice of colours for the outside and inside as well as for the straps is free of charge. It is possible to embroider our softbags and covers. They can be personalized with individual designs or logos on request. The following charges apply for this service:
Creation of the embroidery template (one-time) and embroidery (per unit).

Yes, we do. Defective zippers can be replaced. Other damage such as tears can be repaired in most cases so that you can continue to use the softbags and covers.
